Julie Marks, CNM

Was born and raised in Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University in 1998. Julie became a travel nurse in 2000 and practiced in both San Francisco and Boston before returning to Chicago to start her Master’s degree.

In 2004 she earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Julie has practiced at West Suburban Midwife Associates since October 2004 helping women through their journeys to get their babies to the earth.

She believes in the use of homeopathic remedies and refers patients to alternative methods of healthcare (acupuncture, chiropractics, etc). Julie is expecting her first child at the end of December (even though he will be late as all first babies are) so please look out for her birth announcement soon on the website.
